What You Get

Our Hout Bay Kickstart 5K is your gentle introduction to running. This 8-week program is perfect if you've never run before, or if you want to ease back into movement after time away. With just two runs per week, you'll build your fitness gradually and safely. Each session is supported by strength work and recovery guidance, so you can progress without overdoing it or risking injury. This program works beautifully on its own if 5K is your goal. Or use it as a stepping stone before moving into our full Couch to 10K program. Many runners start here to build their confidence and base fitness first. We start slow, listen to your body, and progress at a pace that feels right. By the end of 8 weeks, you'll complete a full 5K run with confidence. Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone wanting a more gradual path back to running.
